I don't know if this is the right forum to post this in, but I ordered from www.wickedhairco.com about two weeks ago, after doing a lot of research as to where to find the best clip-in hair extensions. Well I never received a tracking number/order status update, they aren't answering emails, and every time I call them, I get their answering machine. I left a message a week ago and assumed they'd taken off for the Thanksgiving Holiday, but now that it's over, I still haven't heard a thing.
What I'm wondering is if anybody has ordered from them in the past few weeks, or if this has ever happened to anyone else with this company?

I saw really good reviews here and emailed them too. I haven't gotten a response either. I haven't ordered anything from them because I wanted to find out about color matching.

Yeah, I found out about the website through this board and it seemed awesome. Thanks for the tip of the owner's forum user name, but I went to PM her and it said she hasn't logged in since the 13th. I hope everything is alright.

I'm so happy to hear someone else is having the same problem I am. I have been reading a lot of the forums trying to find out where to get quality clip ins. I've seen lots of great things about wickedhairco so I ordered my clip ins on Nov. 4th. Today is Dec. 1 and I still haven't received my order. I have left messages and sent emails but I don't get any response! I just wanted an update. I waited 7 business days before I contacted them just as their website had requested. All I get is voicemail and nothing back from email. I feel like all I can do at this point is post this for anyone else that may be thinking about ordering from wickedhairco and contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. I wouldn't have done this if I had received at least an email but the only email I received was on Nov. 7th that my order had been shipped.

I don't know who you think I am. I'm new to this board. As for saying I'm happy to hear this, that is not what I meant. I meant that I thought I was the only one to have this happen to me. Like I said before, I ordered from her because I had read such great things about her product. I don't know her or anyone else around here. I was just going off what I read on the boards. I certainly hope she is okay. I only wanted a response to my emails and voicemail. I even suggested in my email that maybe she could send me another set with a tracking number. I don't think I'm wrong here! I paid for a product, she emailed me the item had been shipped and I still haven't received anything. She doesn't respond to emails...what would you do or think? I don't appreciate you attacking me as if I enjoy this. I was excited to get my clip ins. My mom was coming in town for Thanksgiving...so everyday I ran to my mailbox thinking I would get them before the holiday. And just so you know, as of today, I haven't called my credit card company yet. I am giving her a chance to respond or make it right.

oh*so*sassy of wicked hair co. is very ill. Her and her son have both been hospitalized. She is home and recovering but sounds like she has a ways to go. She is trying right now to sort through the customer issues.
She is a very nice lady and I have faith that she will resolve the issues at hand. She has always had a great business reputation, just a very unfortunate bout of bad luck and ill health lately.
Best wishes to oh*so*sassy, I hope you and your son recover from your illness and get well very soon.

Hi Sherrie. I emailed her on Wednesday. I really appreciate your help. I had seen on your forum as well that she had a great product. After reading it both forums I decided I would order. I really hope she gets well and I understand when someone is sick. I just didn't know and since I had tried to contact her several times and then read it happened to someone else, I was getting concerned. I won't do anything until I hear from her.

I'm sure no harm was intended. It's just that when several newbies post their first posts to the same topic, especially one that appears to be linked to a forum whose members are known to use different usernames where they were complaining about the selfsame vendor, it can appear to be very suspicious.

Wow, drama.
I'm really sorry to hear that she's ill... that's terrible and I hope she feels better real soon. Unfortunately, a few days ago I canceled my order with her through email, politely but I suppose a little curtly. I'm going to PM her again to make sure I didn't sound rude. Thanks to everyone for the updated info and for answering my questions.

Ms. Honey...thanks. I don't know what is suspicious if you haven't read anything but good things about someone. I'm sure I missed something on the board...I didn't try to start any drama here. I use this board for valuable information on products I want to try. Update: I received my hair today. I love it, however, it's a little too golden for me. I got the 16/22 and the highlighted part of the hair is perfect. This was completely my fault...I looked at the colors online and they looked like they matched my hair. Any suggestions? Should I use a color (highlight kit) or a shampoo. Any advice will be appreciated.

I had the same thing happen to me when I ordered J paul hair extensions. I picked light brown and when I got them,they looked more orangey blonde.
I think the reason that happens is because sometimes pictures of the colors turn out darker then they really are.
A highlighting kit may help may the hair blend more with your own.
just make sure you know what you're doing!
It may be better to take the hair to a hair dresser and ask them to match it up for you.

That's great that you got them!!!!! 
The clips in I have were too dark (raquel welch strawberry blonde) to start with. I took them to my stylist and she highlighted them and they match perfectly now but it was hard on the hair. Plus it wasn't remy so it tangles which is why I'm looking for new ones.

Thats such a shame. I have been a customer of Anna's for years and she usually has great customer service. I am desperately trying to order new clip ins though so think i will need to shop elsewhere this time

I think she put it under construction so people don't order from her site. I know people have been accusing her of charging credit cards and not sending the goods. My guess is the service she uses for business transactions on her site automatically charges the credit card. I can't imagine Sassy trying to steel anyone's money!!
I'm hoping she's okay, this is not in her character at all. She's a really good business woman and does care about her customers.

crystal how did you pay? If you paid by paypal or with your credit card you should have some recourse. I wouldnt wait any longer. I would start whatever process is necessary. I dont think sassy is a thief either and I agree with Malibu that this is out of character for her. I dont know what has happened, but you need to do whatever is necessary to recover your money at this point.

I tried to message her account on this website and she hasnt replied should'nt there be some way to contact her? I dont even know where to start on canceling the order or getting a refund on the card. I rarley purchase things offline

start by calling your credt card. There should be a number on the back of your card that you can call.

uhm, yeah so pretty much I lost my pre-paid credit card so I cant call them.
does anybody know a way (other then this web site) that I could contact the owner of wickedhairco.? i found a number, it said I couldnt call it from my area. I dont know what to do.. I have the worst luck ever.

Okay, I found my credit card and called the customer service today
The lady said that I had to cancel my order with the owener the the site that I purchased from before I could get a refund. So without talking to the owner of wickehairco. im pretty much SOL. :(

You should try contacting Yahoo and finding out how to dispute sales from one of their stores.. They might be able to help you..
BTW, you could have told the credit card company that you DID cancel the order, and you have not received a refund as promised.. It's their job to prove otherwise.. What's the worst thing that's gonna happen?? They call Sassy and she disputes your claim of cancellation with NO PROOF of an order being shipped..

okay so this is unfortunate.
I posted on livejournal about my wickedhairco situation and a girl replied to me with this:
"I ordered extentions from them Dec 2007, it is now Mar 2008 and I'm still waiting for them to arrive. I spent over $200. which they already have. I have e-mailed, called and left messages(because the reps were always unavailable). I have not recived a response. I think this company is a big scam. Know any good Lawyers??"
So.. I dont know what to do UGH what a F#cking disaster!! :(

I honestly dont know whats going on. I have received an order from Ana in the last couple of months. I have however, also experienced problems in the past where packages I have been waiting on from her have went 'missing' in the post and she has had to send me out replacements. I do believe that Ana would not scam anyone but there is obviously a major problem. I do believe that you will get either your money or goods..eventually.

You can email her letting her know that you're canceling your order, no response from her necessary, then let your CC company know that it's been cancelled. Let them deal with her, don't let this stress you out anymore. Until recently she's had a very good rep but I think family emergencies have thrown her a bit off kilter.

and the number doesnt work and when I try to reply to the receipt I got on my hotmail that doesnt work either. and my CC company said they could'nt do anything about it unless I cancelled my order with her but when I go to my receipt on my hotmail theres a link with the "status of my order" and when I go to it it says "store is cancelled"

| Girl just tell them that you attempted to cancel the order, did not hear back from the owner, and that now the store appears to be out of business.. You can give them the link to the website so they can see.. You can show them the returned e-mails.. You are going to have to be a LOT more aggressive with the credit card company to get them to take action.. You do not need a FORMAL cancellation from a company that CLEARLY is out of action.. You never received your order, and the company is clearly unable to send it.. It should be a fairly easy matter to get them to take action if you are persistent..

okay so i told my credit card company about how the store was cancelled
so therefor my order was cancelled, and they sent me all the info to fill out and send back to them in order to eventually get my money back but on the form she sent me it said that the site I ordered from was " http://www.wickedwaresworldwide.com/servlet/StoreFront - http://www.wickedwaresworldwide.com/servlet/StoreFront " and the lady at the CC said it was probably the 'head site' or something so I went there and sent them an e-mail yesterday..

Her company used to be called Wicked Wares and that was her web address until she experienced some problems and had to change the name so she changed it to wicked hair co and created a new web address.
