Hi,
Anyone out there had success with wearing clip-on hair pieces while growing out their hair? There is a place in the mall that sells fake ponytails and hair attached to headbands. I am struggling to grow out a short, layered crop and it looks really bad right now. I`m afraid to invest in one of these if they look cheesy and fake or if they get ratty really fast. I don`t think they are really high-quality because they aren`t that expensive. Thanks!

Hi! I went to Sallys beauty salon and bought a fake hair peice for 30 bucks. I love it!!
I work as a waitress where we have to wear our hair up all the time so no hair gets in peoples food. Well, I get compliments all the time. People say... oh your hair so so beautiful and full. lol I smile and tell them its fake only because I`m honest like that. Then I tell them how I want my hair to be that long and full!
They are definetly worth 30 bucks. You just put your hair up in the pony tail and clip it on. I can now go every other day without washing my hair. It cuts down on curling, blow drying and excessive brushing. What could be better than that?

I love faux hair. It has become my trademark around the office. Amber is right---they ARE worth every penny. You can check out Sally`s online selection at the link below (I love that store.)

Also, Target is selling some cheaper Scunci clip-in ponytails and buns now. The longest ponies sell for about $20, and they`re not bad--just not as soft as the Revlon kind at Sally. I LOVE the scruncies with fake hair on them--I have long hair that I pull into a bun, then wrap this $3 faux hair ring around. The picture is below:

I get more compliments on this 5-minute style than when I spend 20 minutes drying my hair stick staight.
