We all know that brushing time and technique is key to getting waves, but does the type of brush matter.

Let's get an idea: Guy 1 and guy 2 brush the same qamount of time, have the same hair texture/length, yet they have different brushes. Guy 1 has a Hard Hollywood Beauty brush, and Guy 2 has a hard Annie brush. If they have the same routine, texture/length, and brushing habits, which would have the better waves? From what I hear, Annies are more durable, but if guy 1 keeps buying his HB brushes right after the brush before is worn out, will they not have the same quality of waves?

given the fact that they both have hard brushes and neither of their brushes wear out they should have the same progress... i dont think the brush is that big of a deal...most people want to get the name brands because like you said, they last longer

Annies and Dianes last longer but that's it... If you keep buying Hollywood Beauty's then in the long run you will spend more money.

And to answer the question. Yes. If the put in the exact same amount of strokes on eack side then their waves will be identical.

Quote Yes. If the put in the exact same amount of strokes on eack side then their waves will be identical.

not technically
everyone has different hair textures
i could brush 50 times and get some ripples
and someone could go brush 400 and barely get any ripples
WHO cares about what brush and all of these other ideas and crap
lets just keep it like the old hb days, and just brush our damn hair with a brush !

I agree than no one has the same texture or brushing habits. But by those conditions they will have the same waves. I realize that a brush is a brush. That IS my arguement.

Well considering he took it off so he could option it to companies I would think you were correct in your assessment.
