although i've had hair extensions professionally done before, it's gotten very expensive and i'm really interested in doing them at home.

i've had Great Lengths Fusion extentions (the removal was done wrong; ruined my hair.)  then my original hairdresser gave me a mullet and i've been wearing Dreamcatchers hair extensions (some sort of Mirco-link type) while that grew out.

well, i'm buying the Tease hair from this website http://www.yourhairshop.com/ - http://www.yourhairshop.com/   , especially because i've seen good reviews on here about it already.

but what system should i buy?   i don't want them to fall out easily (which Dreamcatches has caused me problems with) and i obviously don't want to damage my hair.

(i'd need to also buy all the supplies needed, from this website. which method is cheaper?)

Would it be easier to do fusion or microlinks at home? (i'm having someone help me)

and, LAST QUESTION:  i'm pale, but have dark brown hair.  i'm not sure which color to buy http://www.yourhairshop.com/haircolorchart.htm - http://www.yourhairshop.com/haircolorchart.htm
#1B or #2.     i'm planning to dye my hair to match, and i want a dark brownish-black.   i'm not sure if #1B will make me look sickly-pale, or if #2 will be to light.

I did the micro link method by myself at home, and it was hell. :s
But you would need pliers, micro rings, and a pick, all can be bought at a salon store.
good luck to you<3

I do fusion on myself and I actually just received my Tease 22" wavy last night and will be doing the install myself this weekend.  I have never used Tease personally, so this will be my first time.  I have done fusion on myself and it isnt that hard.  The back of the head is always difficult, but manageable.  I have found that it is the bond quality that makes certain extensions fall out.  I have used the same iorn with 3 different types of hair.  2 never fell out - the other brand was coming out 2-3 a day!  You pretty much just need the iorn and hair protector disks.  I bought the clamp thing but opt to use my fingers to clamp the bond, I find it easier.
