Just a quickie..
I was looking on the back of a few shampoo`s.. and the one I`m looking at has most of the `non-evil` ingrediants in.. however, it contains castor oil..
Is this good, or bad?
I haven`t purchased it yet, as I`m unsure!
Thanks.

HI Kaycee. How far up on the ingredient list is the castor oil? If it`s not in the first 4-5 ingredients, there probably isn`t very much of it. Even so, any oils (mineral, castor, tea tree, safflower) won`t damage your hair--they act as conditioning agents. They can, however, build up on hair after repeated use. Conditioning agents in shampoos usually don`t cling to your hair as well, since you rinse shampoo--and subsequently, most of the good stuff--out right away. I recommend looking for just a gentle shampoo and a conditioner that will make your hair soft and nice with moisturizers in the ingredient list. Either way, the castor oil won`t hurt your hair and probably won`t impact it much. :-)

Thank you honey.
I think it`s like, right down the bottom!
I use Paul Mitchell`s Awuaphi shampoo and The Conditioner and it`s been fantastic for my hair. Great moisturizer. I`d definitely reccommend it!
