At the time I ordered my hair extensions I couldn't find curly one so I had my hairdresser neighbor give them a perm before she put them in. Within about a week they started to feel so dry. Then they were super clumpy at the ends and it took me forever to brush them. Did the perm do this or did I just get bad hair? Do a lot of you struggle with tangles and clumpiness?
Thanks,

I don't know extensions, but I can tell you my hair gets like that after a perm, and since extensions are hair that came from someone else's head, you don't really know what was done to them before or after they were made (they could have been dyed, thus previously damaged, making a perm even more damaging to them than usual).
