Hey! I was wondering if I could possibly get extensions for curly hair? My hair is SUPER curly, I'll post a pic of it. I have gotten extensions before, but they were straight, didn't match the texture of my hair and they were glued in. So, when I tried to straighten the rest of my hair is would melt the glue if the straightener got too close. I ended up having to have them removed after a few days. Any recomendations of techniques? Sorry I am kinda extension retarded :)

Thanks guys!

Hi Laceydon, I also have curly/wavy hair. I typically wear it that way but
on the special occasion I flat iron my hair along with the extension hair.

What I do is get hair that closely matches my own curl. My best match has been Indian hair (it comes in various textures from fine to coarse, straight to curly). And then I get sew in tracks. I love it!! If you choose sew in make
sure when your hair is being braided it's not hurting you. It should be tight
but it never should hurt.

The Bohyme deep wave texture may match that.

laceydon....I feel your pain.....I too have super curly hair....and I fried mine with straightners and blonding.  So....I wore Great Lengths for 2-3 yrs., and now I do them my self with the tape and liquid gold method, now my hair is still curly but I blow dry my hair  out once a week and use a curling iron to smooth it out everyday and no one knows that I have jacked up hair...lol.....a smoothing serum such as IC from Sallys is one great product if your curls are like mine....it also coats them and helps them to not frizz up...I have been wearing the bohyme bodywave for years. I just don't get my hair wet in the summer and no one knows any different...lol

Now if you are wanting to work with your curls...unlike me.....lol......Metalgirl is right...the deep wave may work well for you.
You would definitely have to put layers in your hair to get it to blend with your curls, but you could have a rockin' hair do with that texture. It's all about blending when you have hair like ours....and using the right product to smooth those curls.

Good luck with whatever you order....it's all about trial and error until you find what works for you. Took me about a year of ordering different hair from different vendors until I found what works for me...hang in there...you'll find what you are looking for.

Thanks,

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!
