I actually watched it on the Infomercial on the shopping channel and thought... "WOW I could actually work that".
I am not a hair extention wizard, I looked at getting the real hair, but they were seperate weaves (I think that's what they are called) and really didn't have the time, or patience to be putting that in, so I opted for the cheapear, Jessica Simspon Hair Do... I know this is kinda the wrong board to put it in, but I AM going to talk about color here in a second!!!

I bought the 22 inch Swedish Blonde syntehtic stuff... Iwas wondering what could I use to make it LESS staticy? Would static guard work?

And actually my current blonde, (specially the white) is wayyy to light to blend with the swedish blonde. I actually really really like the sweedish blonde and the roots and underside ofmy hair match!!! SO I am agoing to dye the top a shade darker than it is... cause the white, just don't work.
And since my hair is sooo choppy from the FIASCO with the previous haircut I got from my girlfriend, it doesn't blend well if I leave my natural hair down.
I merely have to put the extension in and then pull the natural hair back a bit and pin it in a half up down do and it looks natural...
I will take a picture for ya guys.... it was worth the cash but really doesn't work as WONDERFULLY as it did on the infomercial. Unless I get the extension or even my own hair cut I doubt it will ever blend as nicely as on T.V, or even with dark hair.
Anywhoo just thought I'd share!!!

Well here it is!!! I dyed my hair a shade darker, but it actually didn't work, it went lighter.... I'm so scared to go darker that I am slowly making my way up the shade scale. Anywhoo here it is, blends not too bad.

Its nice cause you can indeed have long hair or short, it was a godo idea and soooooo easy to clip in... I can do it without even looking in the mirror!
As soon as my hair is a bit longer I think it'll be easier to blend it in with my natural hair down all the way... anywhoo. Nobody could tell my husbands aunt asked how come my hair grew sooo fast! Haha
here is the back/sides. WIthout my natural hair up...anywhoo. It's fun stuff if any of you want to try long long hair... and it's not expensive either.

I've been dying to try that and now I think I will!!! Looks great!!! How long was your hair before you added the hairpiece?

I want the human hair one, cause I need to be about to curl it for when I go out, etc. But the synthetic hair looks really natural and gorgeous.

The only DOWNSIDE to the hairpiece is it is too big for your head...  so in the back it overlaps, to solve this I merely use bobby pins to pin it closer to my head...and if you don't have TONS of hair, Like me, it's kinda annoying trying to hide the hairclips under your natural hair... another one is the piece doesn't have enough hair on it, mine anyways, they should use more hair to cover the mesh, cause again I have very thin hair, not a lot of it and its hard to cover without actually being able to see the back of your head, and if people do touch it, they'll know it's totally fake...
It is easy, cheap and fun, but def. not a wear all the time thing...
My hair is just above my shoulders

looks great; ever had pink extensions?

I've dyed my underside pink, before Haman, but this is teh first extensions I've ever used. I actually just dyed my hair a shade darker, to blend a bit... I use light golden blonde to get rid of the terrible white spots I had on my head... here is what i got. it's a shade off I think, but I prefer it to the previous color. I was just having a hell of a time blending my orangey roots with the white side and the yellow underside, it looked bad.
Anywhoo...
here ya go.
I only left the haircolor in for 2 minutes because the white hair just SUCKED it up like juice.
Oh and I paid 122 dollars canadian.

And some of the white pieces started to take on a purple/grey color, it just didn't look good, the camera wasn't picking up the true colors previously.
I saw an ultra light golden blonde, but it was used for grey hair so I didn't know if I should try that or not? Does it make a difference? Or would my hair suck it up way too fast?
And after a confirmed pregnancy test I want to put in toffeelow lights to minimize the harshness of my roots, as i won't be dying my hair as often then. Anywhoo..whatda think?

These photos are with my hair down, which I can't really blend as well due to the wild layers.

I think it might be too light for me, though. I'll have to wait and see.

The swedish blonde is pretty light but not light like plantinum... if you got to a salon and ask to see them you can get an idea of what color you need.

It's a bit too light but I'm dying my hair again soon, so it should be fairly close. It's such a pretty colour!

what color did you get? and is it synethitic? I just washed mine, I still cant seem to blend it very well, I think maybe giving the piece some layers might help.....
