I have a couple question about highlighting.......

I was thinking about getting face framing highlights in the spring.

Can you put in highlights over color treated hair?

What color would look best with my hair color?

And, I was wondering what the cost would be. I was paying $50 for whole head of highlights. Just curious.

Thanks Smile

Yes you can put in highlights over color treated hair. I used to put in highlights on my own, it's really easy with those boxes OTC.

As to what color, depeneds on what color your hair is now.... If I was going to do it, I'd tell myself they MOST LIKELY will not look like the color on the box... haha.

If your just doing the front area near your face, I'd get a package with the comb, it's easy you just brush them in, the cap sucks.. I hate it. I have fine
hair and I still can't pull it through those damn holes!

And if you go to a salon I doubt for just around your face they'd cost youmuch, though I would bet they try to talk you into doing MORE.

Good luck.

Thanks Bambi Smile

I've never thought about trying it myself, I will look into that.

My hair color is reddish brown.  I will post pictures in spring for more advice. I'm letting my hair grow also, hoping it will be shoulder length by then.
