I'm a student, so I know the importance of a good quality shampoo and conditioner but I simply cannot afford a line like Pureology. Call me a cheapy girl but I'm trying to save to pay off a 10k intuition lol!
 
What do you guys use? Suggestions? Does sallys have anything good? I get somewhat of a discount so that would be nice :)
 
Also, I have some what oily hair but I think that's because I wash my hair about once a week. I color my hair really dark (as you see in my avatar) so I really try and skimp as much as I can on washing it so it doesn't fade.

My personal preference is Pantene's Hydrating line. I also like their clarifying shampoo.

I haven't tried Pantene yet but it's on the top of my list. I really like Hello Hydration. It smells great too.

Always heard bad things about Pantene, something like it puts on a sillicone coating to make your hair look healthy but really it just drys it out or something but, I'll never know until I try it lol.

I've used there straightening line. Didn't think too much of it.
 
So pretty much the issue here is mouisture? You guys both mentioned hydrating stuff.

Most products have cones. The reason it can dry out your hair is because
it does coat your hair. After a while there's build up and the moisture
can't get to the hair so it dries out. Just use a clarifying poo every so often
to remove build up.

You can also get cone free products. I prefer products with cones.

I like Pantene Clarifying, I use that maybe once or twice a week.  Also the good old standby, Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo & detangler.  Tresemme makes a nice clarifying shampoo too.

Trader Joe's has a really good non-sulfate shampoo for about $4 a bottle.
