Well you can tell two things from that pic.

singer has had her hair cut into a short crop, and has swapped her
formerly dark locks for a peroxide blonde hairdo. The new style is
reported to have been the work of her hairdresser Alex Foden, who lives
in the same east London apartment block as Winehouse. A source tells
British newspaper The Sun, "She just said she felt like it. She'd
thought about having a blonde beehive but decided on the shorter look."
A spokesperson for the star adds, "She wanted a new look for the New

The pics Angeldream posted of her before with more weight and darker hair she looks pretty.
I dont really know who she is (I know she sings music,but have never heard any of it) but this new look is not good.

Blech. Kelly looks great. Amy looks awful. The length, "style" and colour are an abominable combo. And she's lost a trademark. Next she'll laser off those Sailor Jerry doodles...

The hair is fine. It's everything else that's wrong. Blonde hair goes with pale skin. Blonde people naturally have pale skin. The problem is far too many people are sold on a "Normal" look, bleached blonde with pale skin has been used by gothy types to achieve an ethereal kind of look since the late 70s. Amy's problem is that she just looks bad. She needs to put on weight. A LOT. Like, 50 pounds. And she should have kept the beehive, it would have been an awesome contrast. Though I expect she'll just get extensions. She looks a complete wreck in those pictures. I had to lol at Kelly Obsbourne's expression though. |

I dont have a problem with pale skin and blonde hair.To be honest,Amy's skin isnt that pale anyways.Looks rather tan to me,but then I have very fair skin. What I think is disturbing (besides her weight) is that her hair looks so unhealthy...and matted.Like it hasnt been brushed in days. It is terriably frizzy and probably will need alot cut off to look healthy again. |
