Somewhere on one of the posts, I read about a humectant pomade. Can anyone help me out and tell me who makes it? Also, if you know, how well does it work?
Thanks. Becky

I know of only one such product and it is made by Aveda. You can read about one person`s experience with it at the Epinions web site:

She liked it well enough to give it 4 out of 5 stars.

"Humectant pomade" essentially means a moisturizing pomade, and there are literally dozens on the market. Virtually all pomades are in some way moisturizing, and you can get them at all prices. Aura (an Aveda lookalike) makes one called Pure Radiance and you can find it at Sally Beauty (which is, by the way, a GREAT place to find cheaper salon alternatives with much better quality than some grocery store products.) I don`t use pomade (I have long hair) but it can be good for dry, short styles.
