I know this initially may sound like a cat (hair balls), but I don't know why this happens to me. Can anyone explain. 
I'm very gentle with my "natural" hair. I trim the ends when needed and don't understand why when I twist or braid I get these little balls of hair that come out at the end. I also wind up cutting more hair "unfortunately".
 Any advice, etc.
Please enlighten me.

I use either IC Shea Butter or BB Oil Moisture w/Castor Oil depending on how dry...and boy it gets really really dry.
What type of deep conditioning product did you use on his hair?
