hello - just seeing if any of you have had any dealings with eloquent hair? www.eloquent-hair.co.uk In my search for a really good informative training course someone recommended them to me, and i have to admit i was looking at the site before that. I have decided to take the 1 week residential course where they teach you TWELVE methods of extensions including for thinning hair, microbraids, fusion, weaves etc etc... It is REALLY expensive though ( £3500) but in my opinion to have such a broad range of skills is worth it! Has anyone else done the course or heard any horror stories i should know about?! |

I can give you the names of some really good extensions books. The most important is Designing Hair Additions, it's the extensionists bible, put out by Pivot Point. It's been around for a while, but it has really easy directions, and explains many different extension methods.
There's some good DVD's out there too. But, with these you have to be careful. Ask a lot of questions, like how many techniques per each DVD, how long does the DVD last? Is the work easy to see with proper camera angles.

you see, i have loads of books, and dvds and i can actually already do extensions, but i just wanted to get some real good quality training to help me along the way - i havent got that book tho, i will have a look for it ! |
