I`m a big Frizz Ease fan, and I just noticed a change on the shampoo/conditioner bottles in stores (I don`t use the shampoo--it contains ammonium lauryl sulfate, but the Glistening Creme conditioner is WONderful for my dry hair.) The conditioner now says "original formula for fine/medium hair" whereas it never said anything about hair type before. This lead me to wonder, are they going to introduce a conditioner for thick/coarse hair?
I emailed the friendly people at John Frieda and this is what I got from Judie in customer service:
"Yes there is a new extra strength Smooth Start Shampoo and Glistening Crème conditioner hitting the shelves any day now. You`ll be able to find them in the very near future, look to stores like CVS and Walgreen`s."
If you can ignore the comma splice error in the last sentence of Judie`s message (there goes the editor in me) this is good news for those of us with frizzy hair and like this line. Some people have complained that Frizz Ease isn`t intensive enough, and while I`m happy with the current version I`ll certainly take a look at the new stuff.
And a last question.....has anyone actually seen the "extra strength" conditioner and care to comment? I`m curious what the ingredients are. Have a lovely day.
