Hi, I'm new to this but I have some questions for you guys! Ya'll seem like ya'll could help. Well, I started college last fall 2006 and I would stay up so late most of the time and be too tired or just lazy to wrap my hair and I think that I damaged it...The right side of my hair seems to be healthy, it has life and movement, but the left side is dead as a door knob and it doesn't seem to be growing. The right side will have like an inch of new growth a month and half after I've gotten a relaxer and the left was like a couple centimenters probably not that much because it doesn't really feel like new growth. I was also in a fight when I was in the eleventh grade and a girl pull my hair and ever since there's a spot at the back of my head that doesn't grow and is only a couple inches long. My hair is mainly to my shoulders and very thin. Could someone plz help me and tell me what I should do! I would really appreciate it! Thanks!!!!!!

Well, what products are you using? Are you relaxed or natural? How often do you relax (if you are)? Do you moisturize daily? How often do you wash your hair?

well, i'm using organics olive oil relaxer, silk elements leave-in moisturizer, silk elements shampoo and conditioner, and organics shea butter and tea tree oil moisturizer. I get a relaxer about every 2 months. And yes, I moisturize daily and I wash my hair every weekend.

I suggest getting braids so that you don't manipulate your hair as much. You could still continue with the regimen you have now.
