Very important message i was reading on a website called http://coarsehair.blogspot.com/ about a woman named Isabella Broekhuizen, who used an optimum relaxer that caused severe chemical burning caused by sodium hydroxide. And oh my god i just washed my hair with Optimum oil therapy shampoo and it has the chemical ingredient that caused that poor womans hair too fall out in the shampoo i didn't even know it had such ingredients like that in shampoo.  ------------- Have NL Goal 1:SL(goal) Goal 2:APL growth aids L-cysteine multi-vitamins olive oil,clear castor oil and glycerine for warm oil massages |

Yeah some of the cleansing products do have that ingredient, usually in smaller quantities than a relaxer.
I am thinking if it is the shampoo, it has a lot less than a relaxer would and you should be fine. It is really up to what you decide. ------------- Natural BC May 9, 2004 |
