Date Posted: August 12 2002 at 1:30pm I have thick, dry, wavy hair and find that wearing my hair in two or more braids overnight makes it shiny and more consistently wavy. I seem to recall, however, that leaving braids in hair can damage it. Considering the popularity of french braids and such, I find this hard to believe. Anyone have any thoughts/experience? And if it makes any difference, I braid it when it is wet and sleep on it. Thanks- S Replies:
