I posted on the hairtrade section that i was looking for specific wefts. he contacted me on their and gave me his email address :beautyhair365@hotmail.com, his name is Wang Fei. I thought he sounded very professional and trust worthy but he did ask for Western Union or Money Gram ( which many chinese manufacturers do) So i hesitated and for 1 week didnt send payment. Afteer one week he emailed me that they custom made my order anyways and that it was ready. I asked for confirmation of my order ( to make sure i was getting what i ordered) he was very responsive by email and MSN instant messaging. I payed with Money Gram and didnt give him the confirmation number until he promised he would ship that same day with DHL and send me a tracking. He promised . I gave him the confirmation and never HEARD BACK FROM HIM. He stole my $500.
So if you guys get sollicated by this guy ( also calls himself TOM), stay far away.

It really does Sourgirl ! you out of all poeple know that I cant help but fall into traps lately ( you've been reading about my ordeals). I never thought the hair bizz would be full of unthrustworthy poeple.
So you opted for hairlocs? are you happier than with GLs?

Beach Bunny don't feel bad. All totaled, I've been ripped off for over $1500. in overseas purchases. Unfortunately, the hair trade is full of scum bags. I've said it before, the internet desperately needs a type of

My god ! it's such a shame ... it is a very profitable business for those who do it honestly... I dont understand why the need for scamming.
I wouldnt buy hair from Ebay but when i comes to clothing accessories and everything else I buy on Ebay I always make sure I pay with Paypal or at least a credit card processor. I thought I was wiser than that... guess not !

| I wouldnt be frantic usually. But the condition of me releasing the funds was to have a tracking within the next 3 hours. Also he usually is on MSN everyday talking to me and the minute he got my funds: POOF vanished from MSN ... i find that a little strange and the more i wait the less likely I am to get my money or merchandise. besides its the chinese new year starting today and he is going to be gone for 2 weeks now ... ( thats how long their holiday lasts ) |

Maybe because of the holiday the order is delayed? I hope that you get your stuff. I have ordered from 3 vendors in Asia, and it's gone well with all of them. I try to be as careful as I can ordering anything I have been a scam victim a few times. Yes Beach bunny I like them better so far, she did a great job with the install I can wear it in a pony tail even without the locs showing. ------------- Currant method Hair locs. |

I dont know why i would need to explain myself to you but here it goes: The salon that put my system in gave me 20' long hair. I asked for 24' and all they have done was screw me for more money claiming to be adding length. Since i no longer go to them, I am now looking to have my new stylist make my hair as long as I originally intended it to be. Now, is there a law against spending more money on your hair because your system is new? last time I checked it was a free country and one could do whatever they wanted with their hair, money or whatever else they please.
You should know that I intend on replacing the whole system all together in a month or two ... because i hate the russian hair they gave me and it tangles horribly. So get ready to question that next ....

gosh beachbunny.....you've been through alot! I've been reading your posts and I hate to hear you still haven't found what you're looking for. I hope you find something that works for you! I just started wearing clip ins and haven't moved on to anything else yet...your posts are definitely helpful on what to do and not to do. That's why this board is so helpful....you hear about the good and the bad. Again, hopefully you'll fine the perfect hair for you. |

Gatorfan, thanks for the good wishes. im glad anyone could benefit from my experiences this past month... i have definitely been thru a lot and seen the good the bad and the ugly, but now its mostly the good. I have found the right stylist, and im on the right track. something did come out of this, because this system helped me achieve results i never could with my previous install ( bonds).
im definitely learning a lot from this board as well. and if anything it is good to come here and find poeple just as obsessed with their hair as I am :)

Sherrie : still no sign from him. he wont answer my emails, he has taken me off his MSN Buddy list and I sent him a fake email solliciting a new order which he answered right away to... so I have been scammed. Im taking the adequate steps not to let him get away with that. obviously i cant get my money back so I might just as well get him in a hell of a lot of trouble with authorities in his country. I know someone in Ganzhou china who is willling to help me file a report and money gram also is taking a deposition. But i have been had !!! my money is gone and so is this guy !!!

I am so sorry to hear BeachBunny. I see this member has made 7 posts here on HB. Several of which had been removed (probably due to blatant advertising) and the other posts that remain are just adverts as well. I think this member should probably be reported to the admin here as well. We dont need this person continuing to solicit and cheat more people on here.

| I was lured by him last year for trying to get some hair extensions at lower prices. I sent money through western union but luckily he didn't get there on time to get it then I withdrew the money from western union on time. He posted all over the internet and @ different auction sites to scam people. Always sending me e-mails with different names and email addresses. I reported him to western union but he still out there using different names and sweet words to get our money. |

| bluehair: I didn't get so lucky, and now I'm out $515 . This is so disgusting for someone to just take advantage this way. Moneygram couldn't help me and neither could my bank. All I can do is make a report with the police in China which I did and hope for them to go pay him a visit. I hope he can be stopped from doing it to others. |

| No. I searched on the internet for hair extensions and came up with his site @ the end of 06 to beginning of 07. He was being rude to me when he showed up at the market (that have banks there) and couldn't get the money. I was suspicious that he was a scammer; therefore, I went on line to western union site and withdrew the money immediately. I reported to one of the site he posted on previously, but they didn't really do anything about it. He has so many web sites and used names as walkers, fei wang, etc. These are just fake web sites of his and fake products that he was trying to sell so people could send money to him via western union. Note: I learned that don't send money to anyone you don't know from other countries. Buy samples first. |

So true Bluehair. I had a bad feeling about him too, i decided not to pay him. after a week he say: hey you didnt pay but your order is ready . I believed him but I was still hesitant i should have gone with my gut. I Imed him on MSN asking him to send me pics of the hair. he never did, he said its ready ... I will send it with DHL and you will have it in 2-3 days. Im such a fool I sent him the money and he vanished. He called himself Tom and Wang Fei . Sherry, I just PMed Karen asking if his IP can be blocked because he can obviously sign up under a different name.
I read many of you order from china and pay with WU so i thought i would be fine
