Hi girls!  I haven't posted for awhile on here, but I ran into a question that I thought you would be able to help me with.  I was looking at the EZ wefts demo on doctored locks.  I was interested in doing that method as my next install.  Does anyone know where else I can find some more info on it?  Or if anyone has any suggestions for me that would be great!
I was wondering how long it lasts.
Is it damaging?
Can I install those tubes to my own wefts or do I have to buy those wefts with them already attached?

thanks girls any and all info would be appreciated!

Hey Mila!  While I have not tried the method, I can still answer yah!!  Ok so, the EZ wefts are basically 2 wefts sewn together(I assume).  To me, it seems easy to make this yourself.  What I would do is to first sew on your micro rings or tubes to the first weft.  When complete, attatch second weft to first with rings sandwhiched in the middle of them.  Proceed with installation as seen in demo.  I can see that it may be complicated install until you get the hang of it.  Another variation would be to use a weft, a ring and your own hair.  first you may have to grow another hand or two....Section hair as usual for any weft installation, holding weft close to part area, thread a tube/ring onto pulling tool, grabbing a small portion of your hair and the weft hair, pull thru the ring/tube.  Holding everything together & flat, crimp tube and continue....

Mila, you may find it easier to just try doing some strands w/ the I tips & tubes you have....

I've thought about this method. It sounds like you can make your own
but to be honest, I would just buy it for the first go at it. If you install
the rings under the weft then I would imagine the wefts would stick out??
So if you do want to make your own, I would do what Asinnamon suggested and
sandwich it between two wefts. I hope that makes sense.

Oh yeah, I've seen this video. Is this the method doclocks sells?
To be honest, it looks like a small amount of hair holds the wefts up. I'm not
sure I would recommend that. The good thing about making your own
is that you can have more rings so there's less tension on a small amount
of hair. It's just more of a PITA to make your own.
