Hi there!
I met for a consultation today with a stylist here in town(Benicia CA) and she uses Innovative Beauty Lines as her supplier for hair, microlinks etc. I tried going to the website that she gave me but apparently it is down(not instilling confidence LOL). She only had a couple of pics of previous clients(2) and those looked good, especially the one with extremely thin hair, but I guess I just expected to see more. She installed 4 links for me and then cut them to my length so I can see how they are so that was nice(the GL extensionist did not) but I am still researching. She quoted me $1440 for a full head with 4 colors. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with Innovative Beauty Lines? Thanks so much!

hi, i never heard of them. How many strands for the cost?
I would want to see more pics, and a website. how long will the hair last?

Thanks Sand, I am meeting with MetalGirl tomorrow and really looking forward to that. She does so many more methods that I am sure we can find something for me. This quote was for 130 strands. This woman does not have a website(surprised at that) and to be honest, I was not terribly impressed with her color selection for me because I have medium brown hair and she was choosing some platinum blonde, sandy blond and a near black and while I am sure it would look fine, I am not 100% certain that it fit me. I am pretty low maintainence and like my brown/auburn hair. LOL Maybe I am too picky? LOL Benicia is between Vallejo and Concord on the 780. Pretty central to everywhere with SF about 30min and Sacramento about 45-50 mins. |

| Thanks! Yep, that is the line she is using. I am glad I did not put a deposit(she only takes cash or check) and that I am consulting with MetalGirl tomorrow. I like that she has been doing extensions for a long time and has more than one method. |

If I lived in the area I would go see metal girl, she gave me alot of advice. I had alot of trial and error with extensions and so far the hair locs have been good to me. I paid $900 for 100 strands ( from nyc area ) and I know they guarantee their hair, I went to someone else awhile ago who used their own supplier and the hair shedded like crazy and the links didnt hold, so after all the maintence and buying new hair instead of paying $450 it turned out to be $1500. | I am so excited! I met with Lisa today and she is so knowledgable and interested in making sure I got good hair(and color!) so I booked with her for the 27th to get them done. So much cheaper than the other two consults and I have so much more confidence in my decision thanks to her! Can't wait! I will have to post as soon as I get them done! |

I think most people are very excited when they get their hair extensions done especially for the first time. Hair makes a huge difference in a person's appearance. Long hair usually translates to sex appeal and femininity and who wouldn't want more of that!

that is great. I am sure you will be so happy with them. Metalgirl is great and really stands behind her work....I love the fact that she does so many different methods so she knows which will work best for your hair/lifestyle/maintenance technique. I wish it wasn't so far for me :(. Please post pics (before and after) when you are done!!! |
