Wow, What can I say?  The ceremony has been over for an hour and not ONE post!
NOT ONE!

Is this a celebrity hair board or what?

OK, I'll go first..

Katherine Heigl looked tremendous, oh, yeah, loved the hair also...

Rene Zellwegger is keeping the short hair, and it looks much better than it did when she first cut it.

Anne Hathaway has ditched her short hair...the short hair was cute, but she looks great with long hair.

Someone needs to drive Tilda Swinton to a hairstylist, and fast, that woman wins the award for worst hair for the evening.

Anyone else?!?

Well, I can't say too much about Nicole Kidman's hair, but she sure has a brand new pair of lips:

More to follow if/when I can think of anything.

You have to give it to Swinton. She has a style of her own and for her I think it works.

Katherine Heigl was absolutely stunning with her golden blonde curls. I thought Hilary Swank looked very sophisticated with her simple french twist.

Basically they were all pretty boring.  I found a picture of Rene Zellweiger on EOnline.  She looks very pretty:  http://www.eonline.com/photos/gallery.jsp?galleryUUID=74ed8fdd-1379-4022-b058-a01578cd532c#591bf82c-8902-4dd5-9cdd-1e072b9d1352 - http://www.eonline.com/photos/gallery.jsp?galleryUUID=74ed8fdd-1379-4022-b058-a01578cd532c#591bf82c-8902-4dd5-9cdd-1e072b9d1352

I guess not too many watch it this year. I know for one I didn't.

I thought overall the Oscar styles were really disappointing. Almost everyone's hair fell between unremarkable and head-scratchingly bad. I never quite understand why celebs don't really show off their hair at occasions like this, as it easily could be their most alluring feature. Last night everyone's hair seemed either pinned up completely (thus removing its potential sexiness entirely so people can instead focus on their, um ears?) or fastened into some weird half-ponytail thing with raggedy long pieces hanging across and down the face, a la Cameron Diaz (seriously, Cameron, this is like your billionth event in a row where your hair makes you look like you just came from the gym).

The one extraordinary exception: Katherine Heigl, whose full, short, curly blonde 'do not only looked so stunning I did a double-take when I saw it, but also placed hers among the few styles that actually seemed intended to emphasize the beauty of the wearer and honor the glamour of the event. Katherine, not only do you top my list, you're the only one on it!

Oh - honorable mention to Julie Christie, also had very full, pretty hair.

Julie Christie is too old to get much airplay.  I cannot find any pictures of her at all.  A real shame as she is a classic beauty.

Katherine Heigl does have style. Sometimes I think the hype is a little over the top. She is too skinny to be a really classic beauty (usually chooses nice dresses though).

Let's hope that no one steals Tilda Swinton's Oscar from her park bench. Lordy! Dead Bob

Tilda did look like she just walked out of a wind tunnel.
