Step 1: Search the internet for  many pictures of the style you like

Step 2: Print pictures

Step 3: Drive to salon

Step 4: Show pictures to trained professional

Step 5: Pay trained professional

Step 6: Go home an admire the work of trained professional

Step 7: Relax and reflect on how pleased you are you trusted a trained professional rather than trusting some guy who got step by step directions from a chat board!

I would agree that this cut is better left to a professional....BUT, we have all experienced money challenges at times and I can't keep someone from being a "do it yourselfer".  Some of my business comes from people trying to do it themselves and me helping them fix their mistakes.

Anyway, here are some links you might be interested in.  These are probably shorter than you want to go but it gives you the general technique.  Just click on the red arrows at the top or bottom of the page to scroll through the whole makeover.

Goodness, I sure would go with Hal's advice. Obviously, he put in lots of time conducting a thorough investigation and then laid out the facts. (Alas, "Hal rocks" does not appear to be in my vocabulary.) Seriously, shouldn't every hair dresser worth anything know how to cut that style by now?

My thoughts exactly Kramer; if your hairstylist doesn't know how to cut the Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham bob, I would get up out of the chair.

Wow, I hope hairdressers don't watch that video....I thought the color was all wrong, and the cut was average at best.  When a model looks better before a makeover, you know something is not right.
