Sorry if I am repeating a topic, but can someone explain Microchet to me?  I have had fusion and micro links, and while I am happy with the links I still lose 10 a week b/c my hair is so baby fine.   And it’s embarrassing when I am out and one starts slipping and I have to pull it out and hide it in my purse!  So I am looking into alternative application methods.  How are they applied?  I read something about threading the hair but I am still confused.  Also, if anyone does them in Chicago, PM me.

microchet is done like this-
it has a shoelace tip with a tiny loop of string around it. your hair gets pulled thru the loop and then string is knotted around your hair.
when u need maintenance, like two mths- the string is cut off, then the I tip is installed with a microcylinder.
i had the guy come to my salon to show me, i bought everything, but honestly i didnt care for any of it, i ended up selling it to someone. the idea of having to use the cylinders for maintenance, i do that already with my locs, so why start with thread and knotts, ya know?

I have not seen the method but Tangles is right, if you are going to end up with cylinders then why not start out with them?  LOL

Thanks guys.  That makes total sence.  Why pay double the cost when I am going to have the microlinks anyways?
