you have to brush a lot more than an hour fam and I'm talkin about at least 4 hours a day since you just startin out and waves come over time you just gotta be patient and stay motivated

i think u dont have to brush 4 hrs a day. thats a long time tho. (even tho my sig pictures look sh*tty =/) but start out brushin 100-150 time per side. and dependin on your head shape try to decide whether u want to brush all your back down or brush the left and right side in 45 degree angles. the same way u brush your sides. it'll prob. be 3 wk.s before u see any results, but if u stay motivated with that brushin the time will go by fast. and wolfin is when u grown your hair out to get progress faster. but constant cuts are just as effective

i know its a long post but i hope this info was helpful

4get all dat time limit, and stroke countin. Jus brush yo hair as much as u can. you're definitely not gonna c any progress in a week or so. Waves take alot of time and dedication. It took me 5 weeks b4 i even got a few ripples, and i brushed alot. I'm not sayin its gonna take u 5 weeks, bcuz it varies from person 2 person. It may b sooner or it may b later. Make sure you're brushin your hair from the crown. it's better 2 brush properly now than 2 jus brush and have 2 work extra hard on those connections later on. U should start wolfin now. Grow your hair out as long as u can(b4 it starts 2 curl and become unmanageable) and glue yo brush 2 yo hand. If u feel like u cant wolf any longer get a small trim(they really help a lot) and go 4 a few more weeks. Make sure u get a #2 cut wtg at least whenever u get a complete cut. Anything lower and u can lose all da hard work u jus put in. I made dat mistake a lot during my waving time. U should shower brush(brush while in the shower while keeping your hair wet) everyday as long as u can. It helps make your hair more manageable and while u wolf, it'll help lay it down. If your hair is long enough u should use a hard brush while shower brushing. if not use a medium. Wat brush u use is key 2 waves also. U can basically use a medium brush at any length, but it would b best if u used a softy while your hair is short(good 4 straightening waves and connections), a medium when yo hair gets longer and a softy isn't quite gettin da job done or anytime, and a hard when your hair gets longer(tames those hard 2 lay down curls and gets dem waves in there faster). Make sure u end each brushing session with a softy tho so u can lay your hair down and align those waves so yo sh*t dont b stickin up and lookin bogus. If it hurts 2 use a hard brush, dont try 2 continue using it bcuz u can cause some serious damage 2 your head that can put u out of commision 4 quite some time. When you're not brushin, u should have a durag on so u can help train you're hair 2 lay down a bit. it really helps in those begginer stages, especially while wolfing. keep your hair clean. u dont need 2 wash it everyday. I wash mine 2-4 times a week dependin on how i feel. make sure u use a conditioner after u wash it bcuz shampoo can really dry out your hair and scalp. 2 good conditioners are Carrot Cholesterol and olive cholesterol(both made by hollywood beauty) They both make your hair extra soft and come in really handy while wolfing, especially while shower brushing. This should get u goin a lil bit 4 now. hit us up wit an update whenever u start 2 c progress. If u have any specific problems hit us up and we'll do da best we can 2 help u out. Good luck

i wouldnt reccommend usin it until u got really deep cuz i dont like the way it looks if your waves aren't deep. like look at gris or especially 360 Spinna on 360 (dot) (com)

Pomade doesn't bring waves. It holds your hair down when u already have them.

HOLD UP WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!!!!

i have a friend that has nappy/coarse hair, and her dont really brush that much, just a hard. and yet he still achieves phenominal results. its frustrating. some days he "takes out" his waves and just doesnt brush....and yet the next day, cuts his own hair, puts in some pomade and no moisturizer, abd hes spinnin. so it just depends on your texture i guess.
