Okay, first let me start by letting you all know...i realize i have tortured my hair at this point, but i need to get it fixed, PRONTO!!
basically, my hair has been dyed/highlighted over and over for a long time. it's not in the best of shape...but has never been super unhealthy. now, i put a second nature color on it in november. it was a very dark brown (this was to darken the very blonde hair i had at the time). then, about 2 weeks ago, i decided i wanted to go all over blonde, platinum to be exact! so, i went to sally's and got a bleach and used it with a 30 vol developer. well, it was VERY orange, all over, except for the virgin roots that i had coming in. so, basically the roots were very blonde, the rest was very rusty orange looking. so, i got a home hair color in lightest ash blonde to tone it down. well, it was still very yellow. so, i went and got another thing of bleach, again with 30 volume developer and did it again...well, now my roots are exactly where i want them...but the rest was almost PINK!! so, i did the color again over it to tone it down. now, i just have pale pink. now, for about 2 inches from my roots i have the perfect color, but the rest is darker with orangy/pink tints all through it! the question is...what can i use to get that out?! and...will it matter if i only bleach the areas that are still darker (since it will remove the ash color that i have on my roots). can i get this to look even!? i know my bang area is too "delicate" at this point to bleach again, but i think the back of my hair will be fine for one more round. should i use a stronger developer and just brush the bleach on below the roots? PLEASE HELP!!! i'm about at my wits end!! :) the reason this is so crucial is, i'm in a wedding in about a week, and i need to get this straightened out ASAP!!!
thanks in advance!
oh, and i have the shimmer lights and have used the fanci-ful...those don't do enough to tone down the rusty/pink color...it's very obvious. :)
oh, and my stylist is about 2.5 hours away and there is no way for me to get there for her to fix it before this wedding...so, that's out! agh! so frustrating!! haha :)
