| Well it didn't take long to come across a lil drama on the old forum. Lurked there for awhile and talk about some mess. Seems somebody bought a unit from another member and it was jacked up. EVERYBODY got an opinion on what she should do. Most insist that she BLAST the member to save others from being burned. Sound familiar, heard it all before, same ol same ol? Yeah, glad to be over here where folks act like they got some sense. Heard there were 67 folks logged in the other night. Now do you wonder that there might have been some scammin going on? Anyhow, the saga continues and just remember, it is what it is! |

Yeah all I did was post some information on how to sell and buy mentioning the unusual activity by having over 60 people logged on at the same time....hell it looked unusual to me......well  it was looked at the wrong way I guess...sucks huh? Oh well, that's my last time trynna help. I got my own problems and BHM will not be one of them  . I see why so many people are spacing away from that mess...I am not the catty type....I snap and POP so it's just best for me to lurk over there.
Personally, after all the sneaking things that I have seen and been through, I wouldnt purchase anything from I dont know and trust unless I can sue them or bust them in the mouth!!

 This statement is sad but funny as hell. It's sad because it shouldn't have to be that way - especially on a board where women refer to themselves as "sisters". But it's also REALLY funny cuz I understand her desire to keep those she does business with at arms reach...or should I say within striking distance. BTW I love this little guy---->

A simple member search of past posts by the OP will tell who the seller likely was. If what the buyer says is true, it is a shame what happened to
her. But members on BHM are suspect about the validity of her claim since she hasn't come back on to update us as to whether it's been resolved - or to reveal who the seller is. It couldn't possibly be that she's fed up and decided to just let it be or to pursue her own course of action. It is easier to believe her story isn't true. How judgemental...
As far as drama on BHM goes, I don't know why we are so surprised. People will be rude and obnoxious up close and personal, why would they be any different with the anonymity of the internet to protect them. It's a no-holds-barred bonanza when no one knows who, what, and where you really are. JMO

I completely understand why someone would give the seller time to make amends before they put them on blast because if I were the buyer and they resolved the issue then I would not out them. BUT, if they are ignoring pm's, e-mails and whatnot I would definately put them on blast otherwise your secrecy allows them to do it over and over again. For all we know this seller could be the same one who sold a jacked up unit to FlyAt40.

 She hasn't been around since someone sold her a jacked up unit and wouldn't refund her money. Has anybody heard from her ? |

If the seller is who I think it is. I purchased one of the wigs that she had for sale also and besides it being to much hair for me the wig was just as she described. It was a smooth transaction!! |

Well I have bought from several members. (Thank God) I also received my unit. I had a mishap once the seller got a higher offer after I paid for the unit. But the ladies on bhm checked her. I received a refund and I made a note not to buy from her again. I guess the lord and his father know how I feel about my hard earn quarters. |

| well like i said the OP of the thread lives in my town, she told me about it and who it was long b4 she posted it on the board b/c she was upset.. and i know the seller is still posting on there so why didn't she step up know that its being mentioned in her defense, if you've done nothing wrong then you need to address it since its out there.. i've seen so much scamming that they;ve even used my name in the scam to make it sound legit only to find out they didn't ripped off at all just wanted folks to chip in and buy her a unit.. .. |

I'm wondering that myself Sexi. If you stand by what you sent, then come on in & defend yourself. However, no names have actually been called so you never know...
Sure you can do a search but it is possible that she didn't leave a post & just PM'd directly to get her unit, so really the seller is still unknown. The tide unfortunately is changing though & now ppl are starting to question the OP about her own motives....

THEY ARE REALLY living a very sheltered life if they think they are any where close to making him any kind of real money their boyscott is min at most to their business.. rex'sbeen around long enough to have established his business.. the chinese vendor's make regular wigs, human hair wigs w/mono tops, lace fronts, toupee, hair wrefts, bulk hair, and sythenic wigs.. they make their most money out of BULK ORDERS FROM COMPANIES not individual orders at 200 per unit.. they will cut you off, and its been done b4..we sent OUT emails to all the vendors and they returned the favor with emails letting us know you NOW HAVE TO PURCHASE 3 MIN ORDERS, NO MORE INDIVIDUAL ORDERS..loL and if you say your from that board, they really don't want to deal with you.. they don't understand your addiction nor do they relate to you..

So I obviously need to stop lurking right. I've just been so hurt. I couldnt wait to get on, to read, laugh, etc. Now it's shameful. and to be honest, when sexi left I was really hurt. Not personally, but I didnt realize all the crap that was going on. And as mentioned in a PP, to call me a sister and treat me like trash does not a sister truly make.
whew--got that off my chest.
Sexi, I got my curly unit from your boy and you did not make a comment. I didnt know you were gone, I ignored that stupid post until the day I joined this board. I thought my hair was so jacked up cuz you didnt respond. That goes to show how much I relied on BHM, terrible I know, but some stuff you gotta let go.

I personally can't get down with Rex, he takes too long for my tastes. I use the same 2 vendors, really just 1 at this time, b/c he's really good to me. Some much so, he's asked for me to come visit him & he would pay!

| well one thing the newbies need to learn is NEVER settle your disputes on the board, non of those members are going to give you your money back.. support is great, but if you don't have your refund in your hand don't even go there.. someone that is loyal to rex, and he has many will tell on you.. i've seen it happen 100's of times, and then you might not get jack its your money not anybody elses, and the only person that can refund your cash is the vendor you put on blast.. |

WELL we're gonna let this die, but if you've complained about something and someone tells them they ought to know based on what the complaint is..i've seen this done not just with CV's but also AV'S when i was a mod there, those vendors lurk and read it for themselves and would pm me and address the situation, i've even had them copy and paste the sales information to prove that the accusations they are being accused of isn't true or their side of the story, otherwise i wouldn't hide the thread b/c i didn't want to censor people's feelings.. sometimes i'd address it or tell the vendor to do so.. i've even had them pretty much stalk me b/c they don't want their business reputation ruin, and sometimes the members were truthful and there were sometimes the total story wasn't told and therefore the vendor shouldn't have been blasted or accused of anything wrong..
but we REALLY want to leave this alone and let this other board and their members resolve their own problems and i hope that they do..

 I will just say this.. It's one thing to bring INFORMATION from one forum to another.. However, I think back & forth he said she said drama between forums is pointless.. I also think that it is silly to attach a loyalty to one forum over another.. I belong to MANY forums (hair and otherwise).. This was the FIRST hair forum I joined.. I found BHM & HE101 through THIS forum, and while BHM is not perfect for me, I still enjoy (most days) being on ALL of the forums I belong to.. I will not draw a line in the sand and "choose a side".. I don't think anyone should.. |

 Exactly Sexi!!! Even if you make the transaction through paypal it will NOT be covered unless its for an auction or for an item that is posted for sale on a website. If you are just transferring money to another person for a sale and the item is not listed with ebay, ioffer, etc paypal will not refund your money until money is deposited in to the sellers account. I lost $220 and learned the hard way !!!! |

I dont know if that was in response to my question about locking it. I was told that locked threads were created over here for another purpose. My reason for asking that was because sexi you yourself said that we should let this drop so in the interest of letting it go I wanted to know if it could be locked but....since we are all free to speak our minds.... Here is mine I have noticed a general atmosphere on this board that is too concerned with BHM. A couple members on here have this mindset like BHM is full of drama and were so much better to not have drama and have things on this boads be more civilized but at every chance they get members on here who are not members on there (and some who are) are constantly bringing up BHM in a negative light. And on BHM I have not noticed 1 time when hair boutique was brought up in a negative light. and some of the responses I was a little ticked off at on here because ladies were making general incorrect assumptions, like
China isnt having a war....they're preparing for the Olympics...there are protests going on in like .05% of its country in terms of land mass, in Taiwan though.... which is nowhere near Qingdao (city), Shandong province where most of the hair factories are located.
How is it a jungle over there?
Ladies on BHM are suspect because this has happened many times before someone would come on saying how they were scammed by a member and get sympathy and everything and then people would send that member a unit or donate to help her get another unit and then it would turn out to be fake.... This has happened a few times. that is why there is suspicion. And when there are 12 units up for sale at around the time she bought here that makes finding out who sent here the bad unit really hard because she could have bought it via pm and no one would know. So without understanding the situations in the past makes it hard for you to understand the context in which the members are speaking. Being lied to...having your generosity taken advantage of many many times.... I'm just stating all of this because there seems to be an US v. THEM mentality going around. It should be noted that we share the same information. The information in the newbie thread was compiled over on BHM first. It was the members (Sexi and Breh included- that hair part trick was amazing) there who experimented with vendors and products first, and found out what worked and what didnt work. Take a look at the newbie thread on BHM its the same one here (but the one here is more updated some ladies at BHM have been trying to update it over there for awhile but ...). The information and questions and concerns are the same. So I think BHM deserves more credit than it is being given here. So everything that you are learning over here is in part due to BHM. ***I'm just stating my opinion. so if your going to respond to me please take the time to be respectful and mature in ur responses to me as I have been towards you*** |

| When I started this thread it sure wasn't intended to put anyone down or to start a "battle of the boards". I just commented and I have a right to do that. Sometimes, some folks wanna "preach" to others about their posts or their responses to posts. What gives anyone the right to critisize someone else's words? I visit BHM also and there are some great ladies over there. There are also a lot of "newer" members and lots of opinions about lace fronts. They are entitled to express their opinions and I ain't mad at 'em. I believe that there are no big "I's" or little "You's" on either board so save your sermon for someone who cares. |
