Hi Divas,

I need some direction here.  I bleached my knots but I forgot about the highlites and they turned orangeCry

Thank God it was just the highlitesSmile  How can I fix those knots?

My next dilema is getting all of the glue out of the lace.  I used the alcohol/olive oil mix to remove my unit.  I next saturated the perimeter with Goo Gone and waited and hour and then lightly brushed with a tooth brush, but there is still glue in the lace.  What else can I use to remove the glueConfused

Please let me know if I can find the answers in the newbie thread.  I searched, but I might have overlooked it.

Thanks in advance

wow that's too bad maybe you can do a rinse over the highlites of some brown undertones to lessen the orange.. i use goo gone or desolve it and alcohol to to remove glue.

When I have stubborn glue around the edges of my lace I let is soak in my sink in a mixture of cold water and shampoo for a couple of hours. This makes the glue get white and  a little firm. I then use a towel to dry the edges where the glue is as much as possible and then do a mirror slide. Once the glue is all out THEN I condition and style as usual.

Don't condition before doing the mirror slide because it won't be as effective if you do and be sure to use cold water to soak it so the glue will firm up.
