I'm having the biggest problem with trying to find a hair stopper that will fit/work for the sinks and my bathtub in my house. I'm trying to find a picture to show you the type of drain that I have. But until then I will post the ones that are not working for me. Paper towels work a little, but I would like to have a hair stopper. These are the ones that are not working for me:

| its a dang gone shame that your plumbing is also just as important when dealing with lf's between the hair and the clue it can clog a sink up!!! ! |

This is what I use:
 Its flat on both sides, so they usually fit in any type of drain. They also come in different sizes. I got them from the dollar store.
I just got my bathroom remodeled and fiancee has already reminded me to put the stoppers in

I know what you mean! I had the same problem and had to come up with my own solution.
I had some old window screens in my garage and I found a way to put them to good use. Remove the grate from the bottom of the tub (if you have the pop out kind), place it on the clean screen and trace around it with a black marker. Leaving about 1/2 and inch extra material when you make your cut. Fit the disc shaped screen over the opening of the grate and then pop the grate back into place, being careful that the disc doesn't fall into the drain opening. It is best to use fiberglass screen material as it is more flexible. You have to remove and clean it often, but it is better than having to deal with clogs or calling a plummer. It might be worth a shot. Good luck!

Yes it had gotten so bad for my drain one time I had gone out to Wal-mart and purchased a food strainer so now when I wash my unit I wash it over the strainer |

Thank you ladies for the information... I will buy a screen this weekend, hopefully I can get one from Home Depot and some Liquid Plummer. The drain in my bathtub is that you push up/down on and the one in the bathroom sick and the metal piece that you pull up/down on. I like washing my natural hair in the shower so I'm going to have to use the Liquid Plummer for that. I will wash my LF in the kitchen sink and use the screen to catch the hair...Never thought of that...

| Don't use liquid plumber, it eats away at your pipes. Try baking soda and vinegar, bubbles like crazy and gets to the clog. Let it sit for a while and then pour some boiling water down the drain. |
