Hi!
I was just wondering what is the best way to bleach hair--should I cover my head with something like a shower cap, or leave it open to the air?  Does the bleach become less effective as it dries out?

Thanks!Tongue

Bleach just about stops working if it dries out. The best bleach to use is oil bleach because it doesn't dry out and is better for the hair. It doesn't matter too much if you cover or not, as long as it stays moist. I cover mine and blast it with the hair drier. This isn't always recommended though because it speeds up the process, and you really need to keep it controlled.

What kind of oil bleach do you use Alley?

Yeah, I've never heard of oil bleach before!
I am using Logics light reactions.

Levitation by Redken.

Wellite by Wella is not bad either.

Hi Alley,

I am wondering if you have any more bleaching tips. How do you know when to apply it to the roots? How do you time it?
