ok, so i am on ebay just looking at some units.  not to buy, just to look!  i come across this one seller contemporary imports and they have two different units on the site with these jacked up measurements.  one is supposed to be an extra large: http://cgi.ebay.com/INDIAN-REMI-CURLY-8-12-FULL-LACE-WIG-XL-Off-Black_W0QQitemZ160222632381QQihZ006QQcategoryZ60188QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem - http://cgi.ebay.com/INDIAN-REMI-CURLY-8-12-FULL-LACE-WIG-XL-Off-Black_W0QQitemZ160222632381QQihZ006QQcategoryZ60188QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and the other is a large: http://cgi.ebay.com/EUROPEAN-TEXTURE-16-FULL-LACE-WIG-Lar-Red-Blonde_W0QQitemZ160222632600QQihZ006QQcategoryZ60188QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem - http://cgi.ebay.com/EUROPEAN-TEXTURE-16-FULL-LACE-WIG-Lar-Red-Blonde_W0QQitemZ160222632600QQihZ006QQcategoryZ60188QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

what gets me is that they say an extra large unit has these measurements:
MEASUREMENTS:
Extra Large
Circumference: 22 1/2"
Ear-Ear: (across the front/ eyes): 12 3/4"
Ear-Ear: (over the top of head): 13 1/2"
Temple-Temple (around the back): 17 1/2"
Forehead-Nape: 15 1.2"
Nape: 5 1/2
"

and a large has these measurements:
MEASUREMENTS:
Large
Circumference: 23"
Ear-Ear: 12"
Temple-Temple: 11 1/2"
Forehead-Nape: 15"
Nape: 4 1/2
"

i want to know, who's head are they measuring for those numbers?Shocked  i sent them an email one time asking them why they thought that a large unit's circumference was 22.5 and of course i got no response at all.  here they go again with this crazy stuff.

the units look nice but they need to get there numbers right or quit pulling numbers out of their butts.

maybe they made a mistake, its may be a typo or something
i read their feedback, they seems to know what they do other than that.

this is not the first time they have done this.  over the past few months, they have advertised other units with those mismatched labels of sizes.  if the people who purchase them are getting what they want, then so be it.  i just think that they are way off when they label a 22.5 as an xlarge and a 23 as a large.

I own two Contemporary Import units that I purchased almost 2 years ago.  The hairlines are exceptional and the density just perfect.  The sizes do run small.  The hair was so beautiful but I did have a problem with shedding.  I don't know if it was because I couldn't keep a comb away from the unit, or if it was just poor vintilation.  I'll probably never know.  I also own three Sasha Paul units and they are fabulous!  Paul is wonderful to work with and very customer service oriented.  He also sent free samples of Mixed Chick hair products which I still use to this day.  He is one of my favorite vendors.  Contemporary Imports is in DC, I believe, and Sasha Paul is in San Francisco.  As far as I know, they aren't related.

thanks Donna.  i have been eyeing Sasha Paul for a while since I came across him on ebay.  he once had a beautiful yaki unit on ebay that i desperately wanted but not at $500!  since you are giving such glowing reviews of his product, i MIGHT give it, or another one of his units, another look.
