Hi I am new just found this site today so far it looks pretty awesome. I have been a stylist for about two years. no one around (at least a 45 mile radius) does extension so I started. At school we were kinda just showed how to do the Cinderella but it wasn't in depth at all.

So I bought the Cinderella kit but I haven't went to the classes because there are any around. A co worker of mine and I put the extensions in each others hairs. It has been a week now and they are still shedding like crazy. I didn't know if it was something we did wrong or if this is normal. Will it stop? Any information would be very helpful. Other then the shedding so far we are happy with them.

Thanks!

Tiffany- I have been wearing Cinderella extensions for the last five months (not the same set!) and love them. I found that after both installs, I had 1-2 wks of shedding and then it calmed down. It wasn't excessive and no bonds pulled out, but some of the loose hairs from cutting each bond in half or thirds work themselves out after washing and combing.

Tiffanymarie, it may just be that you need to get the hang of the technique. You may need to heat the glue/tip longer, or the glue is cooling too much before you pinch/roll it. Cinderella is pre-glued right? I think they are, so not enough glue probably wouldnt be an issue, unless you are cutting part of the tip off you may be cutting of too much of the bonding adhesive. My guess would be that its just a matter of getting used to/tweaking your technique.
