I have wavey/curly hair. I really hate it. I have just bought myself a pair of straighteners off the internet for a very good price  and have also bought some bed head hair style stuff.

 

I basically wanna grow my short hair to a more medium style hair cut. How do you go about letting it grow and what too ask for when I get it cut? I am totally new too this so please bare with me.
