This topic is kinda sad but I just wanted to share...On last tuesday of last week my apartment building caught on fire....No one in my apartment was hurt and there was only smoke damage to my apartment but the building cannot be lived in, so we are forced to move until all the repairs are done.  This has been a very hard experience for me since I am a single mom with 3 wonderful boys.  But I tell you what....God is in control.  I sang a song at church the sunday before the fire and one of the verses said "tried in the fire but your coming out gold"....who knew it would be literal! 

 

Anywho...things are getting better.  Me and my boys should be moving into our temporary place this saturday but right now we are in a hotel.

 

Now as far as my hair (lol) I did a new app. on sunday before the fire and I still have it on.  I have washed this thing twice (cause it smelled like smoke) but I wasn't able to take it off.  This thing is set like a rock on my head.  I use super tape in the front and back along with davlyn and it ain't moved ya'll.  Tonight I am going to take her off and apply another unit (thank the lord my rex wasn't damages ).

 

I just wanted to share my story with my girls...If any of you are going through anything and it seems like there is no way out.....TRUST GOD, CAUSE HE CAN TURN YOUR SITUATION TOTALLY AROUND).  Once the repairs are done on the building my apartment will be better than ever (at the same rent rate) and I am going to have a better unit at that!

 I am definately challenged when it comes to spelling...I always hated that subject when I was in school!!!

 

I am so happy you and the boys are ok!  And you are right! I always leave everything in his hands and he will take care of you! I am also a single Mom and he has gotten me through the toughest of times.

 

But I was wondering.  Are you from Baltimore?  We have had so many apt bldg fires here and it is so sad!

 

Seeing so many people lose everything! 

 

Well I will keep you and your boys in my prayers and I know god is going to bless you with even bigger things now! So be ready!

OMG THANK THE LORD THAT YOUR OK, AND THAT HE WAS WITH YOU AND YOUR BOYS.. that's amazing he will show you when he's working that he's the one doing it, and ain't nobody else gonna get the glory.. all the way down to the point of even keeping your lf application in total check in the mist of all hell breaking loose.. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME THRU THE STORM i'm so happy your ok and everything will be alright..

Its a blessing that you and your boys are safe. and although our lives are much more important then things, its nice to know that you "other" babies where not damaged in the fire. And look, at the end of the whole thing your place will be even better then new. and at the end of the day there is   NO ONE more resourceful than a single Mom, so I know you are handling things well. i just said a little prayer for your family and let us know if there is anything we can do.
