What are some good clip on extensions out there - 100% human hair that actually lasts somewhat.  Any opinions?  Thanks!

From what I have read, many of the people on here make their own clip ins using the hair they like.
It takes a little sewing but then you end up with a set of clips ins custom fit to your head and the amount and quality of hair you want.

The best clip ins are the ones you make yourself with good quality hair like Bohyme.

Thanks ladies.  I have heard good things about bohyme.  I plan on purchasing the bohyme silky straight.  What about the wavy?  What line has good wavy textured hair that lasts?  And clips - someone told me to be weary on what clips I purchase.  Where can I purchase these?  Thanks so much!!

Hey Karissa; I totally support the idea of making your own clip-ins!!! I do so; not with Bohyme, but they last a looooong time anyway. Bohyme hair would be ideal. You can buy a lot of clips off Ebay; I buy mine like this:

from seller: http://stores.ebay.ca/REMY-HAIR-EXTENSIONS - http://stores.ebay.ca/REMY-HAIR-EXTENSIONS . They are super fast at shipping and decent shipping price. I have also been eyeing that hair they sell. It reminds me of Bohyme, but different name. It seems to get very good reviews!

Thanks so much!  I'll definitely check out those clips.  Thanks for providing the seller information.  I currently have sew in extensions and I am dying with all the itching lol.  A little bit of my scalp is pink and bumpy but there is no tightness.  i don't think I can keep up with them!  I plan on getting the clip ons then and just use the human extensions I have and sew them in.  THis method might be better for your hair!

You know...it's really easy to do and once you get all the sewing done, you have hair you can use for months! I would say that clip-ins are pretty healthy for your hair --- I have had no problems with them at all. Some tips for wearing them: Use a strong hold/freeze hair spray at the roots before applying (I use Got2Be Glued). This gives the clips a base to sit on and not as much pressure/pulling on your own hair. Try to section your hair cleanly, so cross hairs don't bug you. And when all your clips are in, tie a scarf around your head for a few mins (I do it for about 20 mins) so the clips can settle into your hair and flatten out a bit. HTH!!!
