Hi.....as I am looking into alternate methods of hair extensions, I was examining shrink links. What do you all think about them? I wanted to get some first hand feedback from those of you who do it or have had it done to your hair.

Are they "safer" than other strand by strand methods? what are the advantages/disadvantages of them? i have tried GL....and not had any problems with them. I tried the hairlocs and didn't like the metal in my hair but liked the concept. Shrink links seem similar but softer in the hair and their isn't any metal to deal with for sensitive scalps like mine....I have been contemplating seamless wefts but still do like the movement from strand by strand.

are they easy to remove? good for fragile hair?

thanks in advance!

I am in the same boat with the metal.  Weird because I have never had any allergic reactions to anything.  I don't think I can do the Shrink links because I have such oily hair but let me know what you find out!

Shrinkies are the only method I use on myself, they are very secure, and light,  l love them, but it takes a little practice to perfect, but worth it!
