This is my first post here on HB. I am a lurker for the most part here and on BHM. I usually wear Jacksun straight or light yaki units but I am looking for a curly unit for the summer. Any suggestions? All the threads I've searched mention problems w/ tangling or shedding with most vendors, and I'm wondering who would be the best to try out.

its not always about the vendor its just that curly units are high maintenance to maintain and you need to be up for the challenge.. now that's not to say one vendor may be more preferred for curlys, straights and/or other styles..but that's a choice of perference.. i personally stay away from them b/c they are hard to maintain and i'm not wearing lf's to do extra work..some don't mind it, but hair my natural hair is enough to fight with on the weekends i'm not looking to fight with a lfs.. jacksun does make pretty one's tho..

AAMH for an AV. For a CV I think rex is the man to go to.

In terms of hair quality and manageability of a curly unit I would recommend California Lace Wigs. The quality of the hair on her curly units is the best I've had. It's soft and detangles very easily after numerous washes. I've also seen that Rex makes really pretty curly units but I've never tried one of his out so I can't tell you anything about how easy or difficult they might be to detangle.
