I purchase my first unit and used Walker Ultra Hold to apply it; everything seemed to be going well but after about an hour I began to notice that the back of the unit was lifting up.Cry I also got a few of the baby hairs in the back stuck on to the lace with the adhesive can anyone please advise me on how to get a better hold at the nape and also on how to get the baby hairs unstuck from the lace without ruining the unit. Thanks in advance!

I think you have to use tape. I use Supertape + vapon no tape. After you apply it I tie it down across the back for about 20-30 minutes and I'm good to go for a week with just minor touchups on the corners

ITA with Sexibeach. Tape and adhesive seem to work for lots of people. Additionally, the placement "on" the name matters, too. (IMHO) I've learned to bend my head when I apply my nape; just above the bend is the best place to apply the unit. In addition to that, make sure you remove any of your hair from the placement site, that will prevent the hold from taking, too (but I'm sure you knew that.) Wink HTH

Chic-Geek,

Girl....you better RUN from that ultrahold! I use blue liner tape and vapon no tape.  I dot some vapon on the blue liner tiner, give it a few minutes to get tacky and then apply it to the lace.  Then I dot some vapon on the othe side of the blue liner, give it a few minutes again and press it against my skin.  This is the best hold ever.  I never have nape issues.  I do tie it down for 20 minutes or so. What I learned though is that if the front to nape is too short, there's no hope for making the nape stay down....even with the stretch.

OMG, I didn't mean to insinuate that I use UH. I hate that stuff and recent posts about its ingredients give me more cause to NEVER use it again. You're right about that RRRRRUUUUUUUNN!

I use ProFlex No Shine and No Tape (Vapon) in the front and SuperTape and No Tape at the nape. ITA, tha tying it down for a couple minutes is key and the secret to curing the hold.
