I know a post exists out there on how to make silky hair yaki but has anyone tried to make a kinky texture?
 
If so, what happened?
If not, any ideas?

its in the newbie thread i think pg. 3 ?? but i've not tried it myself.. altho i do know those acid perms will make it kinky..

I saw that yaki post but wondered if I needed to do something other than a foam perm.
 
I am going to play around with an old unit this weekend & see how it goes.
 
Instead of twisting the  hair as in the yaki thread, I will braid it & se how it goes.

i know when i've used the perm with curling rods the smaller the rod the kinkier the hair becomes..
