Hi everyone! I am new here and I have a few questions.
Ok my natural hair color is dark brown. I am going to some rock concerts this summer and I also have a gig I am singing in. I want a unique hairstyle and edgier hair color but still looking feminine.
I was wondering about dying my hair a very soft black. Not the whole flat emo black, but a shade of black that is not so harsh. How would that look on me?
I also thought about a very deep red with black lowlights.
I am not exactly sure, I want something different, I wish I could go crazy, but I have a job to keep. Any suggestions? This is a pic of me and my natural hair color.

and this one is my natural color but with some red streaks in it! I loved it when I got it done.

Anyone's input is greatly appreciated.

Darkest brown black would look GREAT with your eyes, I think you'd look great with either though.

Wow, u have really pretty eyes! I think darkest brown would be good,I say that because black hair is the hardest color to get rid of if u end up hating it.I don't wanna see u make a big misstake.U could try a demi color. That's a color that will wash out or wear out.It would be safer.I'd do that.Good luck!:)

No black. Only dark brown! Trust me. Your natural color is medium brown, not dark brown from the pic. If you dye it dark brown it will be noticeably darker. I would use a demi-permanent if I were you since you are going darker and do not need to lighten. Dyed black hair just looks really unflattering for almost everyone. I love your haircut by the way.

Thanks! A lot of people tell me that lol! I am kinda scared of permanent, I don't want to constantly keep re dying my hair or try to dye back to my natural color or grow it out and cut it off, I just now grew my longer hair back from that haircut in my pic lol

Hey thanks, I am new to hair dying and scared of permanent lol the most I have done is some caramel highlights ( got tired of those and realized every other dark brunette had them) and then those red ones in the pics. I want to do something different. I thought about black lowlights..would that be reasonable or look..eww? And my hair is grown out now lol I missed it

Hey thanks for the compliment and the input =) I think I will be more likely to use demi rather than permanent *shudders* it just scares me a little lol
