So, I've dyed my hair about a thousand times already. Well.. maybe not that many, but it's been a lot. Right now, I'm at some kind of weird red with dark undertones (who knows how that happened...), but I'm bored of this color. I want to dye my hair medium blond... is my hair too dark to take any effect? Here's a picture of it for you guys to get a better image of it. Thanks for your advice! =) |

That's a pretty auburn! If you want it blonde though, you'll have to use a color remover like Color Fix, then dye over that (it will come out orange or yellow, you'll need to redo it until its yellow, then dye over it with a shade of blonde that you want...it might need to have a violet base to counter the yellow, but that will come out ashy...you'll need to test strand with blonde dyes to get one that comes out how you want). ------------- Making metal barettes/concord clips hair safe, long hair style how to: http://alonghair.wordpress.com |
