Ok Taking out what is left of my hair locs maybe 40 strands left, the first install was great the second one wouldn't hold. and I lost at least 50 to 60 in a month, big ol' scraggely uneven mess. She said she has one hour to spare for an emergency appt but I told her there is hardley anything left but the sides to take out. Hope my real hair is ok if she doesnt have time to install. Wish me luck ladies.

Hope it goes well too.  I am guessing if she doesn't have more than an hour to spare that you might not get a re-install today.  Hope thats not the case.  Good luck

Well I figured if my real hair is bad, and thin she could put in a few strands to bulk it up a little until the re install gets done.

I would be a little cautious about immediately going into a new install right away if you have substantial damage and breakage. When extensions are removed, sometimes the hair can be weaker because it’s been covered by the bond for a few months. The hair comes back in the same and healthy if you just return to a normal routine of washing and gentle brushing. I didn’t have any damage with Hairlocs in fact but I gave my natural hair a little rest before going onto a new system. It’s recommended but not everyone does it.
