What are the rules for the brunette going blonde? Some brunettes look beautiful and natural blonde while others look, well, pretty fake? I have olive skin but its very light, and light brown eyes, does any one have some advice before I go and mess my hair up again (in the past I had some crazy ideas lol)

I would love to know that answer also, my wife has always feared going blone b/c she has brown hair.  She says her stylist said that you look at your skin tone to see if it would work, so I think you are on the right track.

goodluck and i think that if you want blond hair, just do it, its only hair, it grows back!

You know, you could always go to a store that has wigs and trow a few on and look in the mirror just to see what the blond hair looks like on you (not necessarily the style).  that may be a good way to get a higher level view of the situation and could possibly rule out the idea immediately.  However, i am of the opinion, if you want it, do it!

You might want to go to the Clairol web site; http://www.clairol.com - www.clairol.com and use their Try It On studio where you can upload your own picture and try some different styles and colors. They also will recommend their products if you are going to go blonde at home. Their help chatline is also excellent for advice.
Let us know what you decide and post before and after pics.
