Hello folks. I need to darken my blonde just a little, to help with my harsh roots since I am pregnant and can't be dying my hair ever few weeks, do you think this color will appear too dark on my hair or do you think it will show up just like the box. Here is a current picture of my hair. Near the front is kinda the color I want all over. I really love the lightest part of my hair but I can't deal with keeping the rest of my hair the same color....
(And I'm gonna show off my baby fat...) anyways. Do you think this color will appear more DARK blonde than Golden?

And here is my hair now, along will god awful black roots...hahah I really like the above color alot, but I don't want my hair too dark. The woman on the box has dark brows and her skin tone is similar to mine so I think it would work really good for me!

Awww, look at the tiny little cut belly!  You are just adorable pregnant!

When you dye the current color, try using a demi rather than a permanent as you do not need to lift your color any more.  I think if you add the gold it should turn out fine.  STRAND test first and use a demi color.

Hope this helps.

I looked that up online and so far all I can find is stuff you get at a beauty supply store, something I cant do... I have to lift my roots than apply color so... I dunno what to do now. Why would a demi be better? Would using this haircolor lift my hair while depositing color is that why I should go with a demi since it dosen't.

Opps, I meant to say a temporary color.  One of those 26 wash type colors.  A temporary or a semi hair color would be better because you have lifted the ends of your hair as much as you want them, right?.  Hair dyes work by swelling the hair shaft which allows the hair's pigment to be changed--inside the strand of hair.  What you want is something to coat the outside of the hair, correct?  Just something to get you through until you bleach again?

Hope this helps!

I want to darken the ends actually a little to match the hair nearer to my face.... actually I found Natural Match hair color and it has no ammonia and it merely helps enhance your already hair color. Do you think that would work? I don't want to lighten my hair anhmore.. my hair nearer to my roots and the front of my face never lift as much as my ends.
I am going to bleach my roots but I never bleach my ends, just my black roots... I just wanted a color to go over all of it, bleached roots and ends to even out the color and something darker (NOT TOO DARK!) would be nice....
Maybe this would work....it just adds color to your hair... I dunno what it would do to bleached roots.... I always use my purple conditioner every few weeks and leave it in for an hour or two and it helps tone..
I dunno. I am going to get the color tomorrow and I can color my hair in two weeks, I'll be 14 weeks then. Hmmmm.....LOreal%20Natural%20Match%20No-Ammonia%20Color-Calibrated%20Creme,%20Light%20Soft%20Golden%20Blonde%209W%20

Yes, that just might be the ticket!  Strand test prior to doing all over though.

I think that 8G is beautiful! I think it will look great on your and help to blend your roots in with your lighter hair. BUT, you MAY find it too dark because you are so used to be light. Blondes usually freak when they go darker! I would do lowlights first to see if you really like it and that would be a good way to gradually go darker without harsh roots.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!Big%20smile
