I have chocolate brown hair. I'd like to lighten up for the summer. Not go blonde as such, just be blonder. A subtle change. Is that feasible?

I would recommend you go with caramel hi lites.

Caramel hi lites will be pretty. Also to keep it shiney & bright.I'd get Shimmer Lights Shampoo. That stuff rocks! I use the one for red & brown hair.It really makes it brighten up.

Great advice! Highlights would be perfect because you can start slow and go for more if you want. I would say, get them done on the diagonal so they are not stripey and you don't need a full head; just partial.

Love clip-ins and tape!
