After waiting what seemed like forever, I finally got my custom wig from http://allaboutmyhair.com/Store/ - http://allaboutmyhair.com/Store/ I'm sooooo happy! If any of you have wondered what the quality was like from this place, I'm here to tell you IT ROCKS!!  I love it!

I'm a newbie so I don't know what specs you ladies are looking for. I ordered this one: http://www.allaboutmyhair.com/Store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=157 - http://www.allaboutmyhair.com/Store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=157 20 inches and had them cut some layers in it starting at my chin. It's a color 2 and silky straight. I'm in LOVE! 
When i got it today I actually cut some more layers around my face with a razor. It's perfect! And the customer service was wonderful from the get go. Here's another pic before I thinned out the sides... it's very shiny!

OK...I read so much that I can give advice on this without having ever done it! haha. What I have 'heard' to fix the lace is to get some nylon (oh, I can't remember the name of it -- it's see thru) thread and stitch the tear together. OR, you can use a piece of lace (cut off from same wig or other wig) and use that to fill the tear and stitch together.
