As you all know, I am a BLONDE NUT!  I just love it and I have been in search of that PERFECT one, well, as most of you know by now I am happily carrying baby no2... who is due in November. I went to the store and today I made my decision on what I am going to do with my hair and I have settled on... BROWN, yes I'm going back to my AHEM roots and sticking to it. THe Black is tooooo harsh and well the Blonde for a running mom is just not ideal, specially with such naturally dark hair. I know , I know tons of you PREFERED the blonde....I do too, but until I put on this color I was convinced blonde was the way to go, but hello, I make one sexhay brunnette!!! I'm like a natural Marylin Manroe...hahaha. So here it is, Hazelnut by Natural insticts, its way nicer than my natural color, a tad bit lighter, but I really like it and I look good.... hope ya'll like it too... now i have to try and keep it from fading.. MEH!

Wow, I LOVE that colour on you! Looks great. I've had the urge to go brunette lately, but I just don't have the guts. I'm scared I'll regret it, you know? Haha, but props to you for taking the plunge.

I have come to the realization that I AM NOT BLONDE... maybe when my kids are grown up and I have more time for ME, I will try it again, but right now I really really like this tone and color... it's like Audriana from The Hills... now all I need is a tan! HAHA

I like it!  Yes, being a Mom and being blonde is hard.  Especially when Mom is the one who makes herself blonde.  Take care and get that tan, lol!

ClapSmile   Bambi, just beautiful!!! I loved your blonde and I love your brunette too! It's a great blend of golden darker tones. Suits you well. A tan will look great with it too. I hate to hear how hard it is to be blonde with kids --- doesn't make having children any more appealing! haha. J/K. Just remember to reapply your colour every month to really set it in there; there will be major fading on it. Thanks for posting. Tongue

Personally I don't really get the attraction with brown hair :/ Well, not that shade, I like really rich or reddish brown. I feel mean for saying it, but it looks very plain to me :( I could be wrong but I think a lot of people like duller more natural brown because in people's minds it's the polar opposite to fake and trashy.

Not to be even more controversial, but I don't see the issue with being a blonde and mother. I can understand when being pregnant not being able to dye it, but when dealing with children, I mean it only takes an hour a month at most to do your roots, and you can spend that time doing other things too, apart from the bit where you put it on.

I think people convince themselves to stop doing certain things because it makes them feel like they're focusing on their kids more... but in reality, you do have time for both, if you make time.

Ros....... your mother never taught you: If you don't have anything nice to say its better to say nothing at all?

How dare you make an inflection about Bamb's time or how she spends it with the children....

Shall we start looking into your life? Rosalie or is it Roger?

Weirdly enough, I sort of agree with Rosalie! *ducks from the stone throws*

I do agree that just because you are a mother doesn't mean you have to give up beauty and health rituals. You should always make time for yourself.

BUT, I would not associate that with Bambilee's post or life. I don't know her or her schedule and can make no judgments on her nor anyone else for that matter. If she wants to be brunette and gorgeous, that's on her! Big%20smile

Wow thanks Rosalie, can I guess your a mother? A wondeful super mom who can divide your precious time between yourself and your kids? KUDOS!

Anyways I'm not defending myself. I'm not boring or bland, nor is my hair, no matter what color it is. It's a matter of opinion and if you like fakebleach bondes, fine by me. I like em' too, but whatever.

Off to my own topic,
The color has faded, it's not as dark, it's a light brown, which I like too, and am going to leave it, maybe some carmeal highlights after the baby is born would look good? I dunno.

Thanks everyone!

THanks Fakeizme! Rosalie had a point but I think it came across in a very rude, judgemently way...  I did this to feel beautiful and I did it for myself, so I dunno where Rosalie got her little rant from but awright! :)

Hi Bambi,

I have seen you as a blonde and now a brunette, you look good as both, and I am sure after the baby is born, you will still find time to keep on top of your roots, lol.

I like the idea of the Carmel hi lites, blonde hi lites seem to be going out of fashion, ( for now) as Carmel hi lites are a big request in our salon at the moment.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and please keep us informed of the new arrival.

Karen :)

Bambi, you look gorgeous as a brunette! You looked great blonde too, but I think most look better in there natural color. Btw, I would love to have that color brown, everytime I dye my hair it turns out reddish brown.

Congrats on the new baby! Clap Having raised 3 boys, I understand not having much time for yourself. Enjoy those babies.
