i haven't permed my hair in like a year and a half. so now when i wash it, it kinks up. i have been straightening it from time to time but now i want to color. so i was wonderin which should I do 1st. i figured color it 1st then straiten since it kinks up when it gets wet, but i', not sure. so any tips, ideas, do's & donts would be very much appreciated |

when you say 'straighten' do you mean relax? or hot comb?
the rule is to relax then colour, as the colour changes a little when you do it first then relax....but ive always done mine the other way around without a problem. Wait at least 3 weeks between both processes.
If you meant hot comb or press, I would colour first then press.
