Hi everyone!
I'm Sharmayla from NE Ohio. I started going gray/white/silver around 20 years ago, when I was 30. I love it! When I see older women with gorgeous white hair, I wonder how they get it so white! I use the purple shampoo, and I also use Mrs. Stewart's Bluing. I haven't succeeded in getting that beautiful white. What else can I do? Thanks!

I always loved white streaks too!  What color are yours?  If they are yellowish, and this is what keeps them from being white, those violet shampoos are your best bet (unless you want to use dye for a more permanent option).

If the problem is that they are too silver or gray toned, there's not much you can do about that unless you want to try bleaching or lightening them, then you'd have the root upkeep.

Oops!!
Hi Susan W! I don't have streaks. My whole entire head is gray. I can't decide if it's gray, or white, or silver. It looks different in different lighting, I noticed. Don't you love the very white hair that some older women have? I don't think they bleach it. I heard of using Mrs. Stewart's, so I've been using that, but it's not getting any whiter! I don't think I want to bleach it. I like homemade natural recipes.
