Friday night we had terrible weather, a F2 Tornadoe touched down up the street from my house. I knew a storm was coming, and believe it or not I actually thought about gathering my lf's and my fur coats and getting in the bathtub! Anyway I had no idea that it was actually a tornadoe i just knew it was cutting up! It was late at night 11:00 p.m. I got up out of my bed and started walking the floor praying and taking authority in the name of Jesus! I was binding and loosing everythang, commanding angels to come and assist. Commanding that storm Peace be Still, and telling it, that you can't touch my house, or my kids house or any of my family members, b/c i'm the redeem of the Lord and I SAY SO, I'm redeem from the curse of the law, and this earth is part of that curse, AND DON'T TOUCH MY LIGHTS THEY WILL STAY ON. I prayed and walked got in the spirit and rebuked using the word everyway I knew how. I plea the blood of Jesus everywhere.. then i put it in God's hands and went on to bed and took some Pm's and knocked myself out.
I woke up the next morning, my lights was on, and my plants on my porch hadn't moved period. I even had some starter plants in a cup of water and they was still there. I knew it was God b/c I heard that wind that rain was blowing around even in circles, but like i said I didn't know it was no tornadoe. my kids was calling me asking me if i was ok, I"m like why? they like its tree's rolled up on parking lots, its a mess out here.. I had no idea.. So i decided I'm gonna wash my hair started on my way to Sally's to get some supplies.. CHILD i'm riding and seeing all these HUGE TREE'S SPLIT IN HALF where lightening striked them and split them straight down the middled, some were UP ROOTED, sticking thru folks houses, and fall on top of their homes.. I'm driving and running over people's roof's that was in the streets.. got up further a gas station where the entire roll of gas pumps was on top of somebody's car.. went further a complete apartment complex looked like tooth picks, police everywhere it was crazy.. tears started coming in my eyes, b/c i couldn't believe the desvastation i was seeing.. All i could say was Thank you Jesus!
Altho, I did loose power after i got home yesterday afternoon b/c they had to turn my power off to work on the power of those that got hit the worst. So i ended up staying in a hotel last night b/c I wasn't staying up in here in the dark with folks running loose. But its just goes to show you don't have to be stuck in nothing if you know the Lord you can take authority b/c he made us to rule on this earth. And pray for those that lost their homes b/c it was a lot of black folks that now have nothing!

God is good and I'm glad you took authority. I loved your story. It reminds me of Psalm 91:7- A thousand may fall at your left side and ten thousand at your right side, but it will not come near you.

Thank goodness you are okay!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!! (I think it's funny that you brought your fur coat and lfs into the tub with you ... but at least you have your priorities right! hee hee!) |

Sexi, reading that reminded me of my Godmother so much. I remember her telling me when I was 10 years old, to make sure she was buried with a bad a** hairdo, and her furs!

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT Psalms 91 hedge of protection chile it ain't no joke and its for real!.. I didn't even know i was in that kind of danger but I know who I am in the Lord!!
I didn't take the Furs or the LF"S I just got to praying b/c I knew that was too much! but it did cross my mind, which is disturbing..

Thank God that you didn't panic and did what you know to do and that is to take authority over the situation. Now everyone needs to pray and walk in their authority and speak blessings over the lives of those who have been impacted in any way by this storm. |

There is a severe storm warning now. I get all nervous when the weather gets like this. Last Friday that storm lasted like 4 hours straight! I'm talking high winds, trees struck right next to my house (nothing landed on us).
It really was scary, now here we go again

Turns out the storm wasn't all that bad.
You were right out there where the tornado touched down. Glad your home was spared, so many weren't as fortunate.

God is so good. We are sheltered from dangers that we don't even know are present. I will pray for the families that were affected by the tornado. We had a warning yesterday and I too was planning on what to do but I prayed about it and knew that it was going to be ok. God told me to be still and I was. I slept through the whole storm!
